Boca Raton Christian took a 16-run defeat the last time they faced off against Berean Christian, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Blazers narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Bulldogs 29-27. The Blazers' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Charlotte Segien was incredible, getting on base in five of her seven plate appearances with one home run, five runs, and six RBI. Those five runs gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Alexandria Kersbergen, who went 3-for-6 with six runs, three RBI, and one stolen base.

Boca Raton Christian was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .426. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.
