Basketball Recap: Walker Comes Up Short

Walker and Athens Academy squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Walker had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Athens Academy Spartans by a score of 2-0. The Wolverines' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it eight in a row.

Walker's defeat dropped their record down to 3-15. As for Athens Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 20-8 record this season.

Walker does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Athens Academy, they will take on Greater Atlanta Christian on Friday.
