Greybull waltzed into their matchup on Saturday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Hot Springs County Bobcats. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Buffaloes have posted since September 12th.

In the three sets Greybull was on fire: they won each by at least 11 points. The match finished with set scores of 23-25, 23-25, 25-12, 25-14, 15-4.

Greybull was led to victory by Sherlyn Diaz Rios and Marlee Henson. Diaz Rios had 12 digs, while Henson had nine kills, six blocks, and five digs. Those 12 digs gave Diaz Rios a new career-high. Shayne Cheatham also deserves some recognition as she had her first kill of the season.

Greybull was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 14 aces. That's the most aces they've managed all season.

Greybull's record now sits at 12-8. As for Hot Springs County, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-9.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Greybull will head out to face off against Tongue River at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Hot Springs County, after both having extra time off, they and Rocky Mountain will shake off the rust and duke it out at 2:00 p.m. on Friday.
