Volleyball Recap: Braddock Takes a Loss

Braddock lost against Palmetto back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Bulldogs took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Panthers.

Gabriel Perez-Malo paced Braddock's offense, picking up 13 kills. Perez-Malo got some help from Adrian Martin and his nine assists. Martin was also solid from the service line: he led the team with two aces.

Braddock has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-8 record this season. As for Palmetto, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-6.

Braddock has already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Coral Gables on the 1st. As for Palmetto, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 defeat against Mater Lakes Academy on the 1st.
