Volleyball Game Preview: Weed Cougars vs. Mt. Shasta Bears + How To Watch

Weed hasn't had much luck against Mt. Shasta recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Cougars will head out to square off against the Bears at 6:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

It was a proper cat-fight when Weed took on Etna on Tuesday. The Cougars fell just short of the Lions by a score of 3-2.

Weed wouldn't go down easily and took Etna into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking seven-point loss. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-20, 22-25, 20-25, 15-8.

Meanwhile, Mt. Shasta didn't have quite enough to beat Etna on Thursday and fell 3-2.

In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, Mt. Shasta sadly wound up on the wrong side. The final score came out to 25-20, 19-25, 25-19, 17-25, 15-12.

Weed's defeat dropped their record down to 17-11. As for Mt. Shasta, their loss dropped their record down to 16-7-2.

Weed came up short against Mt. Shasta in their previous matchup on October 2nd, falling 3-1. Can the Cougars avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
