Volleyball Recap: Boca Raton Comes Up Short

Boca Raton lost against Dwyer back in September of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Bobcats took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Panthers. The Bobcats just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

The final score came out to 25-14, 25-17, 21-25, 25-23.

Lia Ray paced Boca Raton's offense, picking up 18 kills. Ray got some help from Meya Cooper and her 41 assists.

Boca Raton's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Dwyer, their victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-5.

Boca Raton wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Divine Savior Academy on the 19th. As for Dwyer, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Saint Andrew's on the 19th.
