Volleyball Recap: Hellgate Takes a Loss

Hellgate lost against Russell back in September of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Knights fell just short of the Rustlers by a score of 2-1. The Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Cady Schneider paced Hellgate's offense, picking up 14 kills. Schneider got some help from Bayley Walker and her 23 assists. Schneider was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Hellgate's defeat dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Russell, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 9-6.

Hellgate has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Great Falls on the 4th. As for Russell, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Butte on the 4th.
