Soccer Game Preview: Coventry vs. South Kingstown + How To Watch

The Coventry Oakers will venture away from home to challenge the South Kingstown Rebels at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Coventry is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last three games.

Coventry is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. They blew past Woonsocket 7-1 on Tuesday. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded Coventry with their most commanding win of the season.

Their offense was hitting Woonsocket from everywhere, as six different players booted in a goal. Joshua Donehower led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.

Meanwhile, South Kingstown kept a clean sheet against Classical on Wednesday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Purple. South Kingstown haven't had any issues with Classical recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Coventry's record is now 8-3-5. As for South Kingstown, their record now sits at 6-12-2.

Coventry might still be hurting after the 8-0 loss they got from South Kingstown in their previous meeting back in October of 2024. Can the Oakers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
