St. Charles's game  last Friday was a  loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them  on Tuesday. They pulled ahead with  a  42-41 photo finish over the Grove City Greyhounds. This was payback for the Cardinals, who suffered  a  53-37  defeat the last time these two teams met.
 Several Greyhounds players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was   Demitri Adado, who  posted 13  points. Another player making a difference was  Jacob Saxton, who  put up nine points.
St. Charles' victory bumped their record up to 8-12. As for Grove City, their loss was  their seventh straight on the road, which  dropped their record down to 5-15.
 Looking ahead, St. Charles will venture away from home to  face off against Bishop Watterson  at 7:30  p.m.  on Friday. As for Grove City, they will welcome Lincoln  at 7:30  p.m.  on Friday. Grove City is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 53  points per game  this season.
