Volleyball Game Preview: Webster Schroeder Warriors vs. Galway Golden Eagles

The Webster Schroeder Warriors will challenge the Galway Golden Eagles at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Webster Schroeder is coming into the contest hot, having won their last four games.

Webster Schroeder is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of New York's top teams: Penfield, who was ranked ninth at the time (Webster Schroeder was ranked first). The Warriors came out on top against the Patriots by a score of 3-1 on Thursday.

Webster Schroeder got the W, but it wasn't easy, at least in the fourth set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-18, 21-25, 30-28.

Meanwhile, Galway made easy work of Oppenheim-Ephratah-St. Johnsville on Thursday and carried off a 3-0 win. The Golden Eagles haven't had any issues with the Wolves recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Galway was: they took every set by at least 11 points. The final score came out to 25-8, 25-14, 25-7.

Webster Schroeder's record is now 21-2-1. As for Galway, their record now sits at 21-5-3.
