Something new happened on Tuesday as Ricardo Ramirez Placido saw his first action of the season, playing 80 minutes against Thornton. Ramirez Placido made the most of the opportunity, putting up an assist. A few more games like that and he might be seeing even more time going forward.
The win made it two in a row for Kennedy and bumps their season record up to 2-5-1. As for Thornton, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-7.
