Holmes had already won five in a row and they went ahead and made it six on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Currituck County Knights with a sharp 3-0 win. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Aces also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Holmes was: they took every set by at least ten points. The final score came out to 25-13, 25-8, 25-15.

SarahLogan Cobb paced Holmes' offense, picking up ten kills. Cobb got some help from Harper Evans and her 23 assists. Hailey Roberson controlled things from the service line, finishing with eight aces.

Holmes' victory bumped their record up to 6-0. As for Currituck County, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Looking ahead, Holmes will welcome Washington at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Currituck County, they will challenge Camden County at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
