After losing to Fairmont Senior the last time they met, Notre Dame decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Fighting Irish walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Polar Bears on Tuesday.

Notre Dame not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Fairmont Senior between 20 and 21 points across their sets. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-20.

Sophie Gum paced Notre Dame's offense, picking up eight kills. Gum got some help from Piper Fryer and her nine assists. Fryer was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.
