Softball Recap: Owensboro Comes Up Short

Sunday just wasn't the day for Owensboro's offense. They lost 8-0 to the Daviess County Panthers on Sunday. Unfortunately, that's the fourth time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, with their most recent loss being a 10-0 defeat on May 1st.

Owensboro has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 12 of their last 14 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-21 record this season. As for Daviess County, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 17 of their last 19 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 25-5 record this season.

Owensboro does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Daviess County, they will take on Owensboro Catholic at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
