Volleyball Recap: Middletown Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Middletown and Loveland squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Middletown had to settle for second. They lost 3-0 to the Tigers. The Middies' loss continues a trend for the team, making it six in a row.

Middletown's defeat dropped their record down to 4-12. As for Loveland, they are on a roll lately: they've won 14 of their last 15 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-3 record this season.

Middletown does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Loveland, they will welcome Fairmont at 8:00 p.m. on Saturday.
