Soccer Game Preview: Colleton County vs. Beaufort

Colleton County is 1-9 against Beaufort since April of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Cougars will square off against the Eagles at 7:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

Colleton County is headed into Tuesday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their ninth straight game last Friday. They fell 4-2 to Bluffton.

Meanwhile, Beaufort was not able to break out of their rough patch last Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost 6-2 to May River.

Selena Duncan and Delaney Sheehan scored both of Beaufort's goals, bringing their combined season tally to nine goals.

Beaufort's loss dropped their record down to 8-5. As for Colleton County, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-11.

Colleton County came up short against Beaufort when the teams last played back in March, falling 3-1. Can the Cougars avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
