Basketball Recap: West Lutheran Comes Up Short

West Lutheran was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They were three points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 77-74 heartbreaker at the hands of the Cleveland Clippers.

West Lutheran's loss dropped their record down to 5-17. As for Cleveland, the win got them back to even at 11-11.

Looking ahead, West Lutheran will be playing in front of their home fans against Hope Academy at 8:15 p.m. on Monday. West Lutheran knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past four matches -- so hopefully Hope Academy likes a good challenge. As for Cleveland, they will head out to take on Mayer Lutheran at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
