Recap: Prairie Heights Panthers vs. Hamilton Marines
The Prairie Heights Panthers had to endure a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They breezed by Hamilton on the road to the tune of 50-13. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory Prairie Heights has posted since December 5, 2023.
Prairie Heights got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Emily McCrea out in front who scored 17 points along with seven rebounds and five steals. Another player making a difference was Ava Boots, who scored 13 points along with six steals.
Prairie Heights' victory bumped their record up to 7-11. As for Hamilton, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost six of their last seven matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-9 record this season.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Prairie Heights will challenge East Noble at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hamilton, they will head out on the road to square off against Lakeland at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
