Football Recap: Locust Grove Pirates vs. Salina Wildcats
After losing to Salina the last time they met, Locust Grove decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Locust Grove Pirates enjoyed a cozy 52-34 win over the Salina Wildcats on Thursday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Pirates.
Titan Hix was a one-man wrecking crew for Locust Grove as he rushed for 128 yards and three touchdowns, and also threw for 293 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 11.7 yards per attempt. Zander Messer was Hix's top target, picking up 165 receiving yards and a touchdown.
