Softball Recap: Warner Takes a Loss

If Warner was feeling good fresh off their 24-15 takedown of Julian last Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Warner Wildcats lost 17-2 to the Lincoln Hornets on Wednesday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Wildcats of the 19-8 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2024.

Warner's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Lincoln, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 1-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Warner will square off against Calipatria at 6:00 p.m. on March 27th. As for Lincoln, they will face off against El Cajon Valley at 4:00 p.m. on March 26th.
