Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Norwalk). They put the hurt on the Firebaugh Falcons with a sharp 5-1 win on Tuesday. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Lancers considering their one-goal performance the matchup before.

Norwalk pushed their record up to 8-2-3 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only given up two goals over those five contests. As for Firebaugh, they are on a 12-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-12-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Norwalk has already played their next game (against La Mirada), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Firebaugh will head out to take on Dominguez at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
