Soccer Recap: Springfield Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when Springfield challenged Hilliard Bradley on Thursday. The Wildcats lost 5-0 to the Jaguars. While losing is never fun, Springfield can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio soccer rankings (they are ranked 405th, while Hilliard Bradley are ranked 95th).

Springfield's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Hilliard Bradley, their win bumped their record up to 5-3-1.

Coming up, Springfield will be playing in front of their home fans against Greeneview at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hilliard Bradley, they will head out to face off against Hilliard Davidson at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
