Live Oak Classical waltzed into their contest on Saturday with nine straight wins... but they left with ten. They blew past the Troy Trojans, posting a 66-36 win. Given the Falcons' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 333rd, while the Trojans are ranked 691st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Live Oak Classical is on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 13 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 15-4 record this season. As for Troy, they moved to 11-6 with that loss, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Live Oak Classical will take on San Marcos Academy at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. Troy and Groesbeck will round out the year against one another at at 11:00 a.m. on Monday. One thing working in Groesbeck's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three games.
