Lakeside put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. Their defense stepped up to hand the Tri-Cities Bulldogs a 6-0 shutout. Considering the Vikings have won five matches by more than five goals this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Lakeside's win bumped their record up to 8-0. As for Tri-Cities, they moved to 4-3 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Coming up, Lakeside will head out on the road to square off against Decatur at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Lakeside's defense has only allowed 0.4 goals per game this season, so Decatur's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Tri-Cities, they will host Clarkston at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
