Bonham has struggled against Leonard recently, as their matchup on Friday was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.
When it comes to explaining why Bonham lost, one person who can't be blamed is Jayden Ross. Despite the final result, he scored eight points along with three steals. Ross is trending in the right direction, as he's improved his point production for three games straight. Another player making a difference was Russell Welch, who scored seven points.
Bonham has not been sharp recently as the team has lost 11 of their last 12 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 17-17 record this season. As for Leonard, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 19-11.
Bonham will be playing in front of their home fans against Howe at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Bonham is coming into the contest with three straight defeats at home, meaning Howe will have to defend against a team hungry for a victory. Leonard does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
