Bryant and Cabot are an even 5-5 against one another since April of 2019, but likely not for long. The Hornets will square off against the Panthers at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Bryant comes in on 15 and Cabot on eight.

The scorekeeper got an easy start on Thursday as neither Bryant nor North Little Rock made it on the board until the sixth inning. The Hornets never let the Charging Wildcats get on the board and left with a 10-0 win. Considering the Hornets have won seven matchups by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, Cabot faced Bauxite in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Panthers blew past the Miners 14-8. The Panthers are also no stranger to big wins: their blowout was the 11th game they've won by 6+ runs this season.

Bryant pushed their record up to 15-0 with the victory, which was their 23rd straight on the road dating back to last season. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.0 runs over those games. As for Cabot, their victory bumped their record up to 14-3.

Bryant skirted past Cabot 6-4 in their previous meeting back in March. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Hornets since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
