Football Game Preview: Kern Valley Broncs vs. California City Ravens + How To Watch

The Kern Valley Broncs will face off against the California City Ravens at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

The home team had won the previous three meetings between Kern Valley and Rosamond, and Rosamond kept the tradition alive. The Broncs fell 30-21 to the Roadrunners on Friday. While the Broncs had to settle for second, they closed the game well in the third quarter, where they outscored the Roadrunners 13-7.

Although Kern Valley took the loss, they still got scores from Carson Parks and Daniel Hinkey.

Meanwhile, California City fell victim to Bishop Union and their airtight defense on Friday. They took a blow against the Broncos, falling 43-0. The loss continues a trend for the Ravens in their meetings with the Broncos: they've now lost six in a row.

California City's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Kern Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 3-5.

Kern Valley strolled past California City in their previous matchup back in October of 2024 by a score of 21-6. Will the Broncs repeat their success, or do the Ravens have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
