Soccer Recap: Veritas Christian Academy Takes a Loss

The Veritas Christian Academy Lions came up short against the King's Christian Knights on Friday and fell 4-2. While losing is never fun, Veritas Christian Academy can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey soccer rankings (they are ranked 226th, while King's Christian are ranked 75th).

Madelyn Seifert wasn't going to let King's Christian walk away unscathed as she scored both of Veritas Christian Academy's goals, bringing her season total up to 23 goals.

Veritas Christian Academy now has a losing record of 5-6-1. As for King's Christian, their win bumped their record up to 13-0-1.

Coming up, Veritas Christian Academy will venture away from home to challenge Sussex County Tech at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for King's Christian, they will welcome Gloucester County Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
