Soccer Recap: Bayonne Comes Up Short

Bayonne lost against Union City on October 11th and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Bees fell just short of the Soaring Eagles by a score of 1-0. While losing is never fun, Bayonne can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey soccer rankings (they are ranked 264th, while Union City are ranked 48th).

Bayonne has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-12-2 record this season. As for Union City, their victory was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-4.

As of now, neither Bayonne nor the Soaring Eagles have any future games scheduled.
