Basketball Recap: Fort Vancouver Comes Up Short

Fort Vancouver was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 15th straight loss. They lost 49-28 to the Castle Rock Rockets. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Trappers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 54-11 on January 8th.

Dakota Davis continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Castle Rock, dropping a double-double on 15 points and 15 rebounds. Davis is also crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Sophia Buchanan was another key player, putting up eight points and four steals.

Fort Vancouver's defeat dropped their record down to 1-16. As for Castle Rock, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-10.

Fort Vancouver will be playing at home against Columbia at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Castle Rock, they will head out on the road to face off against Stevenson at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
