Martins Mill is a perfect 3-0 against Big Sandy since February of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. Martins Mill lost 7-1 to Fruitvale last Friday. That's two games in a row now that the Mustangs have lost by exactly six runs.

Meanwhile, Big Sandy came up short against Hawkins on Tuesday and fell 7-2. The loss continues a trend for the Wildcats in their meetings with the Hawks: they've now lost eight in a row.

Big Sandy saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Journie Plunkett, who went 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI. Maddie Freeman also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.

Martins Mill's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Big Sandy, their loss dropped their record down to 3-5.
