Bay has won four straight games at home, while Wakulla Christian School has won four straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Tuesday. The Tornadoes will host the Saints at 5:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Bay barely beat Gadsden County the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Tornadoes never let the Jaguars get on the board and left with a 15-0 victory on Thursday. The Tornadoes haven't had any issues with the Jaguars recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.
The team relied heavily on McKenna Case, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with one home run, three runs, and one stolen base. The team also got some help courtesy of CaNylah Julius, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.
They weren't the only ones working in the home run department: Bay lost a few balls and finished the game with two home runs. That's the most home runs they've posted since back in April of 2024.
Meanwhile, Wakulla Christian School made easy work of Gadsden County on Tuesday and carried off a 25-4 victory. That 21 run margin sets a new team best for the Saints this season.
Grace Johnson made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out nine batters over four innings while giving up four earned runs off only two hits. Johnson was also big at the plate, going 1-for-5 with two runs and two RBI.
In other batting news, Alexah Brown was incredible, going 3-for-4 with one home run, four runs, and four RBI. That home run marked the first that she has launched this season. Milena Carns was another key player, going 1-for-2 with two stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI.
Wakulla Christian School's win bumped their record up to 7-3. As for Bay, the victory got them back to even at 8-8.
Bay took their win against Wakulla Christian School in their previous meeting back in March by a conclusive 18-7 score. Will the Tornadoes repeat their success, or do the Saints have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
