Basketball Recap: Jefferson County North Takes a Loss

Jefferson County North was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They took a 47-36 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Oskaloosa Bears. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bears this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 52-37 last Saturday.

Jefferson County North's defeat dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Oskaloosa, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 10-6 record this season.

Jefferson County North didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 0-0 draw against Jackson Heights on the 13th. As for Oskaloosa, they will take on Valley Falls at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
