Beloit posted their closest win since May 2, 2025 on Friday. They had just enough and edged out the Lyons Lions 4-3. This was a revenge game for the Trojans: when they faced off against the Lions on Friday, they had to take a 1-0 loss.

Beloit's victory bumped their record up to 14-4. As for Lyons, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-9.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Beloit will face off against Republic County on Monday. As for Lyons, they will host Skyline at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Thunderbirds have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 13.72 runs per game on average), something the Lions will no doubt try to take advantage of.
