Soccer Recap: McDowell Takes a Loss + How To Watch

If McDowell was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Freedom last Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Titans fell just short of the South Caldwell Spartans by a score of 1-0 on Monday. The contest was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but McDowell couldn't quite close it out.

McDowell's loss dropped their record down to 6-5-3. As for South Caldwell, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 4-7-4 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. McDowell will challenge rival Alexander Central at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, South Caldwell is set to square off against their familiar foe Watauga at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
