Baseball Recap: Lee Christian Takes a Loss

Lee Christian fell victim to Cape Fear Christian Academy and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They came up short against the Eagles, falling 10-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 18-3 back in March.

Lee Christian's loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Cape Fear Christian Academy, they pushed their record up to 8-5 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home.

Coming up, Lee Christian will welcome Friendship Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Lee Christian is facing Friendship Christian at the right time seeing as Friendship Christian is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Cape Fear Christian Academy, they will square off against Crossroads Christian at 5:15 p.m. on Monday. The Eagles' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Colts have averaged an impressive 6.3 runs per game this season.
