Volleyball Recap: Vandegrift Continues Road Dominance on Tuesday

Vandegrift won the last time they faced Cedar Ridge and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Vipers walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Raiders.

The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-19, 18-25, 25-17.

Jamison Smith was a one-woman wrecking crew as she had 12 digs and five aces. That's the most digs she has posted since back in August. Isobel Cullen was another key player, getting 14 digs and two assists.

They weren't the only good servers: Vandegrift was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 13 aces. They are 10-1 when they serve at least ten aces.

Vandegrift pushed their record up to 20-19 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Cedar Ridge, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 18-16 record this season.

Vandegrift wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-1 loss against Stony Point on the 10th. As for Cedar Ridge, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-2 victory against Hutto on the 10th.
