Softball Recap: Southern School of Energy and Sustainability Takes a Loss

Southern School of Energy and Sustainability was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 16-1 to the Louisburg Warriors. If the Spartans were looking for revenge after losing 12-6 to the Warriors when the teams met back in March of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Southern School of Energy and Sustainability saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Akirah Boldin, who went 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI.

Southern School of Energy and Sustainability's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Louisburg, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Coming up, it'll be Northside v. Southside when Southern School of Energy and Sustainability and Northern Durham meet at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Southern School of Energy and Sustainability has given up an average of 16.2 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week. As for Louisburg, they will challenge Southern School of Energy and Sustainability at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
