The Honaker Tigers were the 2-1 winner over the Virginia High Bearcats when they last played one another back in April of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. Honaker took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Virginia High on Wednesday. Honaker has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Honaker's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Virginia High, the win got them back to even at 1-1.
Honaker is on the road again on Friday and plays Ashe County at 5:30 p.m. on March 15th. As for Virginia High, they will challenge Abingdon at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
