Soccer Recap: Shelby Valley Comes Up Short

Shelby Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 9-1 to the Pikeville Panthers. That's two games in a row now that Shelby Valley have lost by exactly eight goals.

Shelby Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Pikeville, the win keeps them at an undefeated 4-0-2.

Looking ahead, Shelby Valley is taking a road trip to challenge Knox Central at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Pikeville, they will challenge Oneida Baptist Institute at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
