Basketball Recap: Hammond Comes Up Short

Hammond won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune on Monday. They came up short against the Howard Lions, falling 70-47. The Golden Bears were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Lions apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January of 2024.

Hammond's defeat dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Howard, their win bumped their record up to 9-4.
