Soccer Recap: Monroe Township Falls Short of North Brunswick in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Monroe Township can now relate to. They fell just short of the North Brunswick North Brunswick Raiders by a score of 2-1 on Friday. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as Monroe Township came into the matchup with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey soccer rankings (they are ranked 27th, while North Brunswick are ranked 135th).

Monroe Township's loss dropped their record down to 14-5-1. As for North Brunswick, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-7-1.

As of now, neither Monroe Township nor the North Brunswick Raiders have any future games scheduled.
