Basketball Recap: Michael Polster's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Blessed Sacrament-Huguenot over Brunswick Academy

Blessed Sacrament-Huguenot was the 57-55 winner over Brunswick Academy when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Blessed Sacrament-Huguenot Knights fell 67-55 to the Brunswick Academy Vikings on Friday.

Blessed Sacrament-Huguenot lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Michael Polster, who went 6-for-14 en route to 18 points and five boards. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in points. Another player making a difference was Daniel Lopez, who posted ten points and six rebounds.

Blessed Sacrament-Huguenot's defeat dropped their record down to 17-5. As for Brunswick Academy, their win bumped their record up to 17-7.

Looking ahead, Blessed Sacrament-Huguenot will host Southampton Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Southampton Academy is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 58.9 points per game this season. Brunswick Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
