Football Recap: Kenwood Piles Up the Points Against Northwest

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Kenwood). They breezed past the Northwest Vikings to the tune of 31-0 on Friday. The win continues a trend for the Knights in their matchups with the Vikings: they've now won nine in a row.

Christian James was his usual excellent self, rushing for 110 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only 11 carries, while also throwing for 117 yards and two TDs on only eight passes.

James was just one part of a punishing run game: Kenwood was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 208 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in October of 2024.

The victory got Kenwood back to even at 3-3. As for Northwest, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-4.
