Basketball Recap: Cristo Rey Takes a Loss

Cristo Rey was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss dating back to last season. They might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting the KIPP Academy Lynn Collegiate Panthers an easy 50-30 win.

The victory made it two in a row for KIPP Academy Lynn Collegiate and bumps their season record up to 2-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cristo Rey will venture away from home to challenge Collegiate Charter School of Lowell at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for KIPP Academy Lynn Collegiate, they will head out on the road to face off against Greater Lawrence Tech at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
