Volleyball Game Preview: Archbishop Moeller Fighting Crusaders vs. Elder Panthers

For the first time this season, Archbishop Moeller will have a chance to prove themselves in a conference matchup. They will welcome the Elder Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams are strolling into their contests after big wins in their previous games.

On Wednesday, Archbishop Moeller made easy work of St. Xavier and carried off a 3-0 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Fighting Crusaders.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Archbishop Moeller was: they took every set by at least 14 points. The final score came out to 25-5, 25-8, 25-11.

Meanwhile, Elder got the win against Archbishop Alter on Tuesday by a conclusive 3-0. The win continues a trend for the Panthers in their matchups with the Knights: they've now won six in a row.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Elder took every set by at least 11 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-14, 25-13.

Elder now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Archbishop Moeller, their victory bumped their record up to 2-0.
