Football Game Preview: Twin Falls Bruins vs. Pocatello Thunder

Twin Falls hasn't had much luck against Pocatello recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Bruins will host the Thunder at 7:00 p.m. One thing working in Twin Falls' favor is that they have posted at least 31 points in their last four matchups.

On Friday, Twin Falls was fully in charge, breezing past Mountain Home 40-7. The Bruins haven't had any issues with the Tigers recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive victory against them.

Meanwhile, Pocatello started off well but failed to capitalize on an early lead against Highland. They lost 32-7 to the Rams on Friday. The game marked the Thunder's lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Pocatello's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Twin Falls, their win bumped their record up to 4-1.

Twin Falls couldn't quite finish off Pocatello in their previous meeting back in October of 2024 and fell 18-15. Thankfully for the Bruins, Hunter May (who rushed for 125 yards and one score, and also threw for 198 yards and one TD) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
