Soccer Recap: St. Vincent-St. Mary Comes Up Short

While it was all tied up 0-0 at halftime, St. Vincent-St. Mary was not quite Streetsboro's equal in the second half on Thursday. They fell just short of the Rockets by a score of 1-0. St. Vincent-St. Mary were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Streetsboro apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2021.

St. Vincent-St. Mary's loss dropped their record down to 2-4-2. As for Streetsboro, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-2.

Coming up, St. Vincent-St. Mary will welcome Gilmour Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Streetsboro, they didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 2-1 victory against West Geauga on the 13th.
