Page has gone a perfect 10-0 against Ragsdale recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Page Pirates are taking a road trip to take on the Ragsdale Tigers at 6:00 p.m.

Page can't be to happy about their upcoming road contest considering what happened when they opened their season on the away from home on Tuesday. They came up short against Southwest Guilford, falling 22-3. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it four in a row.

Page got a big performance out of Kennedy Jarusik, who scored a run and stole Two bases. while going 1-for-1. Another player making a difference was Ariel McAfee, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with two stolen bases and one RBI.

Even though they lost, Page was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .556. The last time their batting average was this high was back in March of 2024.

Ragsdale never got on the board in their matchup on Tuesday, but that sure wasn't the case in their game against Trinity on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Bulldogs as they made off with an 18-8 victory. The Tigers haven't had any issues with the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Gracie Jet Cuthrell was a major factor no matter where she played. She struck out eight batters over six innings while giving up just two earned (and six unearned) runs off eight hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 1-for-5.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Morgan Osborne, who scored four runs and stole Two bases. while getting on base in all five of her plate appearances. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in runs. Sara Lopez-Cornado was another key player, scoring three runs while going 2-for-4.

Page was able to grind out a solid victory over Ragsdale when the teams last played back in April of 2024, winning 7-3. Does Page have another victory up their sleeve, or will Ragsdale turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
