Volleyball Recap: Weyauwega-Fremont Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Weyauwega-Fremont can now relate to. They lost 3-0 to the Peshtigo Bulldogs on Thursday. The Warhawks have struggled against the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-18, 25-11.

McKenna Ferg paced Weyauwega-Fremont's offense, picking up 11 kills. Ferg got some help from Mariah Baehnman and her nine assists. Finally, Ferg was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high three blocks.

Weyauwega-Fremont's loss dropped their record down to 9-17. As for Peshtigo, with the win, they broke their three-match losing streak and moved their record to 24-14.

Weyauwega-Fremont does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Peshtigo, they have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Bonduel on the 25th.
